Fall Council Meeting 2020: Scenario Planning

Description

If there’s anything 2020 has taught us, it’s that the future can surprise us. For the region to achieve its MetroCommon 2050 goals, we can’t just plan around uncertainty: we must plan for it.

At MAPC’s November 18 Fall Council Meeting, we'll craft strategies for how we can achieve these goals—even in the face of change.

How can we build the housing we need? Create jobs that generate prosperity? Achieve racial equity? Defend against climate change? Improve mobility across modes? And how can we do this even as the world changes around us?

We hope you can join us at the Council meeting to have these discussions! This meeting will be interactive – we plan to use breakout rooms and will be asking for participation from attendees.
